The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT has a full time opening for an Ambulatory Respiratory Therapist II.
We are a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center serving a population of one million throughout Vermont and Northern New York. With over 7,000 employees, we are the largest private employer in the state of Vermont.
This is a full-time position Implementing and supervising pulmonary rehabilitative exercise and education programs prescribed by referring physicians. Position could lead to an RT III role when appropriate certifications and experience are met.
Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Vermont. Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC Current BLS, ACLS preferred.
Three to five years experience ideally in both inpatient and outpatient settings, in relevant clinical area and independent in all areas of the Ambulatory RT I accountabilities. Supervisory experience a plus.
